My nephews were born today!!, and ohh the JOY of having teeny tiny babies around the house again, I'm in baby heaven!!.. it was a hard pregnancy, my sister in law had to spend almost six months on bed rest but she delivered two healthy gorgeous little ones and she is doing very well too!

Mikel and Lukas
Welcome to the world wee ones!!

"...together they traveled over the rainbow bridge and down the spiral staircase until they came to a big gate. The heavenly child felt a little bit anxious about leaving his wonderful heavenly home but with courage in his heart and his angel beside him, he went through the gate ... a little baby was born upon the earth! ...
as told by Barbara Patterson in the book Beyond the Rainbow Bridge

Today we get ready for Spring's arrival, and here are some things we do to celebrate Imbolc .

We light candles around our house during the day.
We do our first spring cleaning: I invite my kids to sweep the house and we open the front door and sweep the dust out, this is to symbolize that we get rid of the old and we welcome the new in our lives.
Today is when we prepare the seeds we want for this years vegetable garden and start planting some of them indoors.
We hang Brighid's crosses in the doors that we use the most and above our chimney, and we have a small celebration before the day is over where we write one goal that we want to accomplish this year.

I also want to remind you about my GIVEAWAY so don't forget to leave your comment in the post below for the chance to win 2 of my prints.

Have a wonderful day!!

this week we celebrate the animal kingdom, so yesterday we put our animals on our Advent Spiral...

We made window paper stars as ornaments for our tree...

We made for the very first time ballon lanterns!! ohh what a mess it was, but soooo worth it and even though they didn't turn out the way we expected them, candlelight is always candlelight beautiful and warm!!

too much excitement for the wee ones ... Good night to you all!!
